The season has begun!!

Saturday, March 30           Yesterday's opening day tourney was an amazing sucess!! Team Nasty won the inaugural event over The Chuggers, who looked strong in their first games as a Franklin Wiffleball team. Look for a lot of action from April 13-21, as most of the players will be on Spring Break. Friday, March 8           Talks began today about a possible League Merger. The proposed deal would combine Franklin Wiffleball and another up-and-coming league in town into a multi-division Franklin League. More news as it comes... Tuesday, February 27           Unseasonable weather resulted in the first pre-season event of the new season. Brandon Joyce had a stellar performance cranking a double and two Homers to lead his team to a 5-3 victory in the five inning game. Draft prospect Steve Tonzi looked strong pitching in relief for the winning team, with some nasty lookin sliders. This season promises to be the most competitive yet!! Monday, February 26            We have been experiencing technical difficulties with our server (IT SUX), and are currently trying to get everything back in order before the season starts. Eight teams yet to be approved will make up two divisions for this year's 20 game season. Opening day will be March 29 (Good Friday) at Muskin Field. More info as we know it....
